Service
We are a full service facility and have 3 full time service technicians with 15 to 30 years experience each. They are factory trained and able to service all makes and models of sewing machines and sergers. We are the Western Canadian authorized factory service centre for Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff and Singer Sewing Machines and Sergers. We are also the authorized service center for Bernina, Babylock, and Janome. We repair all makes and models as well. We stock a large variety of parts and service in house. Repair time length varies according to the number of repairs currently brought in. Call to find approximate repair time length. All tune ups come with a 6 month warranty on labour.
We also offer scissor sharpening in store as well.
Scissor sharpening is $12.00 for any pair up to 8 inches. Larger pairs, pinking shears or Gingher scissors are $15.00.
NOTE: When bringing your machine in for service, please make sure to bring the foot control, lead cord, the presser foot and bobbin. If your machine has an embroidery module, please bring in embroidery foot and hoop.
Note: A lead cord is the cord that goes from the machine to the electrical outlet. In some cases, the lead cord and foot control could be combined into one…The cord that goes from the machine to the wall, and also goes to the foot control. The presser foot is the sewing foot on the machine. Please make sure you have the zigzag foot or “regular” foot with the machine, not the straight stitch foot…unless it only does straight stitch).

There is a $30 Non Refundable deposit due at the time of drop off which goes towards fixing the machine. If the machine cannot be fixed, it can be used towards the purchase of a new machine within 7 days otherwise it will be forfeited.
We put a $30 limit on parts. Anything beyond that the customer will be notified. Certain repairs require extra labour but will be notified before completion.
Multi needle embroidery machines and long arm quilting machines will require specialized quotes.
We do not repair industrial sewing machines.
We stock a large selection of parts, but special order parts might delay servicing.
