From "What's New with Husqvarna Viking", "Special Techniques and Embroidering Beyond your Hoop", "Husqvarna Viking Fancy Footwork" and "Quick Gifts, Crafting and Beyond with Creativate and Singer Momento.

Claire Haillot - Sewing Events & Product Specialist
From a young age, Claire Haillot's passion for sewing ignited a journey that would define her life's purpose. When she turned 18, her birthday wish was clear - a sewing machine. Little did she know, this humble request would lead her to a world of fabrics, threads, and boundless creativity. In a family where sewing wasn't the norm, Claire's determination to pursue her craft alongside her business studies showcased her unyielding dedication.
As she embarked on her corporate career, fate intervened through a colleague who introduced her to quilting. Falling headlong into this enchanting world, Claire's enthusiasm knew no bounds. In 2004, she opened a quilt shop in Laval, driven by a mission to demystify quilting and make it accessible to French-speaking enthusiasts. Her journey took her from stitching beautiful quilts to sharing her knowledge and expertise with a growing community.
Claire's passion for quilting naturally evolved into teaching and writing, positioning her as the definitive reference for French Canadians. Over the years, she established her own line of quilting patterns, published in numerous magazines such as quilter’s world, Canadian Quilter, A Needle Pulling Threads, Créations & Déco and Pratique du patchwork. Claire has also won several awards for her work, including Best of Show at International Quilt Festival Chicago in 2018.
After gracefully closing her quilt shop in 2016, Claire found a new avenue to channel her passion: sharing her love for quilting through insightful blog posts on QUILTsocial.com. 2017 marked a pivotal year as she chronicled the PFAFF creative icon, which broaden her expertise by introducing her to embroidery. When the time came to part with the sewing machine, Claire chose to keep it and continued to explore its features.
With her excellence in quilting, her passion for creativity and a mind eager to share, Claire is thrilled to have joined SVP worldwide as Sewing Events & Product Specialist and is looking forward to visiting Canadian dealers to host PFAFF® and HusqVarna Viking® demos.
